Our 2 bedroom apartment is situated in the heart of St Lucia, South Africa in the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the iSimangaliso Wetland Park.

iSimangaliso Wetland Park
In 1999 the Unesco World Heritage organisation awarded iSimangaliso the title of World Heritage Site. Not only because it is home to vital turtle nesting beaches but also because of its exceptional biodiversity and unique ecological processes.
Home to 4 of the big 5 African animals you will also find over 1200 hippos and over 800 crocodiles, a variety of antelopes and many species of birds.
If you are lucky while visiting St Lucia, you will see the hippos having their evening strolls around the town and residential areas.
Beach Life
With coastline stretching over 200km, the iSimangaliso park has something for all beach lovers. Fishing is a main pastime here for both shore angling and boat charters. Beaches are safe for swimmers and you can find some great snorkelling spots at Cape Vidal.
